Greeting Families with children between 6 weeks and 5 years old. The long-anticipated state of the arts infant, toddler, and pre-school center will soon be opening at the Deanwood Recreation Center building at 1350 49th Street, NE. We are hopeful that we will be licensed by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) to start our program as early as April 2020. If your family receives OSSE subsidized child care , please see Note below.
We are expecting spaces to go very fast once we complete the licensing process and begin operating. We are providing the opportunity for families to pre-enroll by paying a pre-enrollment fee of $100 and completing a tour / family interview to determine if our program is a good fit for your family.
If we decide or if you decide that our program is a good fit, your family may enroll and the $100 pre-enrollment fee will be credited toward your enrollment fee*. If for any reason you don’t enroll, your $100 pre-enrollment fee will be returned. Once enrolled, your family is guaranteed a space in our program when we are allowed by OSSE to open.
After opening, spaces will be filled on a first come-first serve basis. Once all spaces are filled, anyone interested in our program will be allowed to join the waitlist and receive a call when a space becomes available.
*See fee schedule in the fees section of this website. Subsidized families will be granted a discount of 50% on registration/enrollment fees.
Note: Families with subsidy may only start at the center when the center has been approved by OSSE, for the subsidy program. This process can only begin after the child care license has been obtained and an orientation has been completed by center personal. The estimated start time will be mid-summer. Spaces will be set aside for subsidized families until the approval process has been completed.
